Stephen Palmer Biography & Artwork
Professor Stephen Palmer BA PhD FRSA studied psychology, biology, art and environment with the Open University as a mature student.
He found the art and environment course the most stimulating and rewarding part of his degree. His favourite painting medium is oils on canvas.
Most of his paintings and photographs are of seascapes and his paintings have gradually become more abstract using fewer colours.
He has had a number of exhibitions in London including a permanent exhibition of his seascapes at the Centre for Stress Management in London from 2001 to 2006.
He has authored or edited 35 books on a range of topics. He does most of his painting and writing in Porthleven.
